Disney4me
We are always on the hunt for the best food and drinks at Disney World! Grand Floridian Hotel & Spa There are so many dining locations across all of the Disney parks, and once you add in all the Disney World hotels, the options can seem overwhelming. Don’t worry we are here to help, and today we are reviewing a new food item at one of the Disney World hotels! We are headed over to the Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to pick up an adorable treat! Gasparilla Island Grill is the quick service location at the Grand Floridian and offers burgers, sandwiches, salads, flatbreads, and more. However, today we are after a food item on the sweeter side, so let’s head inside. Gasparilla Island Grill We are after the Mickey Chocolate Choux which is chocolate pâte à choux filled with chocolate Chantilly cream. You can grab it at the Gasparilla Island Grill for $6.79. Just look at how cute it is! Let’s grab a snack from Gasparilla Island Grille! Mickey Chocolate Choux: Chocolate Pâte à Choux filled with Chocolate Chantilly Cream — $6.79 pic.twitter.com/nmBHZ8YxqL — Disney Food Blog (@DisneyFoodBlog) July 12, 2024 First of all, we think this treat is adorable! It definitely gets a few bonus points for eye appeal. Buuuttt, the real test is how this cutie tastes. It is perfect for photos, but is it also perfect for the mouth? Mickey Chocolate Choux We are happy to report that this Mickey Chocolate Choux is so GOOOOOOOD! Yes, that is good with seven o’s because this guy deserves the love. The treat has lots of milk chocolate flavor, but without having an overwhelming level of chocolate flavor. We thought the choux tasted was wonderfully fluffy and had a lovely crunchiness to it. The crunchiness tastes similar to the edges of a fresh pan of fudge brownies. It’s so cute! The inside of this treat is so incredibly fluffy and the Chantilly cream tastes like a whipped mousse. Then the bottom of the dessert is covered in a thin layer of chocolate which just ties the whole treat together! Our only complaint about this one is that we wish it was bigger so we could enjoy it for longer. So much filling goodness! We will likely be thinking about this treat for awhile as it is a real winner! It looks fantastic for photos and tastes even better. While you may need to travel a bit out of your way to get this dessert at the Grand Floridian, if you happen to be in the area, we highly recommend grabbing this treat.
