Disney4me
Every week, we report the average Disney World wait times in every park so that you can be prepared for your next trip to Orlando! This week saw an interesting pattern develop, and we need to talk about it. EPCOT Three of Disney World’s four theme parks — Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios — all saw their average wait times decrease over the past week. However, Disney World’s fourth theme park — EPCOT — saw wait times go up? Is this an effect of the new Lighting Lane Multi Pass system? Take a look at this week’s average wait times — going from highest to lowest! Magic Kingdom Wait Times The Magic Kingdom park saw minor decreases in wait times this week. None were major (the largest was approximately 4 minutes) but still, it’s worth noting that Walt Disney World’s busiest theme park saw times drop. (REMINDER: Tron Lightcycle / Run does not currently use a standby queue; it’s not included here, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure does not have a standby queue yet.) Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Seven Dwarfs Mine Train — 60 minutes Space Mountain — 49 minutes Jungle Cruise — 35 minutes Big Thunder Mountain Railroad — 33 minutes Haunted Mansion — 31 minutes Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh — 30 minutes Astro Orbiter Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin — 25 minutes Astro Orbiter — 24 minutes Enchanted Tales with Belle — 21 minutes Pirates of the Caribbean — 18 minutes “it’s a small world” — 18 minutes Tomorrowland Speedway — 16 minutes Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini — 15 minutes Enchanted Tiki Room Mickey’s PhilharMagic — 15 minutes Country Bear Musical Jamboree — 15 minutes Liberty Square Riverboat — 12 minutes Magic Carpets of Aladdin — 10 minutes Enchanted Tiki Room — 10 minutes Dumbo the Flying Elephant — 9 minutes Mad Tea Party — 8 minutes Carousel of Progress Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover — 10 minutes Tom Sawyer Island — 7 minutes Prince Charming Regal Carrousel — 6 minutes Carousel of Progress — 5 minutes Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse — 4 minutes Hall of Presidents — 0 minutes A Surprisingly Scary Ride Is Returning to Magic Kingdom Next Week EPCOT Wait Times In opposition to the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT saw wait times go UP almost across the board this week. Again, no major jumps, but increases are increases. (NOTE: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind does not currently use a standby queue, so it’s not included here.) Mission Space Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure — 52 minutes Frozen Ever After — 45 minutes Soarin’ — 27 minutes Mission: SPACE — 24 minutes Imagination Pavilion Turtle Talk with Crush — 15 minutes Spaceship Earth — 13 minutes The Seas with Nemo and Friends — 10 minutes Journey into Imagination — 8 minutes Gran Fiesta Tour — 8 minutes Living with the Land — 7 minutes Test Track, Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China had no wait times this week. This EPCOT Lightning Lane Hack Feels Illegal (But It Isn’t!) Animal Kingdom Wait Times Animal Kingdom’s Flight of Passage remains the busiest ride at the park (and resort overall). That said, Animal Kingdom was similar to Magic Kingdom in that nearly all of the park’s rides saw a small decrease in wait time. Overall, we’re noticing a pattern. Expedition Everest Avatar Flight of Passage — 82 minutes Kali River Rapids — 47 minutes Na’vi River Journey — 46 minutes Expedition Everest — 33 minutes Dinosaur Kilimanjaro Safaris — 22 minutes Dinosaur — 25 minutes It’s Tough to Be a Bug — 10 minutes TriceraTop Spin — 6 minutes The Boneyard — 0 minutes 50 AMAZING Things You Never Knew Were in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Hollywood Studios Wait Times Hollywood Studios saw a CHANGE at the top, as Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster overtook Slinky Dog Dash for the park’s longest average wait. However, overall the park — like Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom — saw wait times generally fall. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster — 66 Minutes Slinky Dog Dash — 63 minutes Rise of the Resistance — 55 minutes Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run — 44 minutes Toy Story Mania Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway — 43 minutes Tower of Terror — 43 minutes Toy Story Mania — 42 minutes Alien Swirling Saucers — 26 minutes Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy — 13 minutes Star Tours — 14 minutes Muppet Vision 3D — 10 minutes Walt Disney Presents — 5 minutes.
