REVIEW: Disney World Dropped a New ‘Coco’ Treat That Might as Well Be Singing, ‘Remember Me’

Okay, we’re just going to say it: you should NOT be walking by Joffrey’s in Disney World.

Joffrey’s Near Canada

First, you can get coffee at Joffrey’s with shorter lines than Starbucks (and we’ll argue that some of the Joffrey’s drinks are BETTER). But you can also get some really good cookies like the Tower of Terror cookie or the Team Blue cookie — who can resist ride-themed cookies? Well, Joffrey’s just dropped a NEW cookie, and we think it could be one of the best cookies in Disney World — yep, we said it!

We stopped by Joffrey’s in EPCOT to try out this new cookie, which isn’t ride-themed, but it IS themed to an awesome Disney movie, Coco. Meet the Coco Moco Cocoa Cookie for $6.38. It’s got LOADS of chocolate flavor, caramel, and even a little marshmallow.

What’s NOT to love? It’s soft, buttery, chewy, and perfectly ooey-gooey. It’s got a browned butter-meets-caramelized brown sugar-meets-caramel drops thing going on inside that makes it stick to your teeth in a very satisfying way.

DELISH

This cookie is also rich and dense, and we even get a hint of a sticky toffee pudding vibe with it. The dusting of salted cocoa sugar on top sounded good to us, but that’s the only thing that didn’t deliver in terms of flavor. But it was a worthy experiment on Joffrey’s part.

So rich and dense

The marshmallow flavor is subtle, and we wouldn’t have minded a little more because it wasn’t very obvious. We’d say this is similar to the Tower of Terror cookie, but it feels a bit more upscale like the sophisticated, gourmet aunt who moved from the Midwest to the city. It’s chocolatey, but not TOO much, so it’s not too much COCOA as it is Coco in that if it said to us, “Remember me,” we would. We will! Seriously, Joffrey’s is SLAYING with the cookie game right now.

We’ll be keeping an eye out for more new snacks in Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
