Disney4me
Who is ready for spooky season? Mickey pumpkin in Disneyland It’s only a matter of time before the first Halloween decorations start appearing in Disneyland (bring on the Mickey pumpkins!). We’re also excited about the tons of snacks coming to the resort throughout the Halloween and fall season (over 100!). But there are also a few other things to get excited about, including a special Halloween character dining experience — and reservations will open soon for that. A special Halloween character dining experience is coming to Goofy’s Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel. According to Disney, “During the Halloween season, Goofy’s Kitchen will offer a bountiful buffet for breakfast, brunch and dinner.” We expect the decorations to be spooky and the characters to be decked out in their Halloween costumes. Sounds like fun, right? Goofy’s Kitchen at Disneyland Hotel So when will you be able to book your Halloween meal? Reservations open on August 15th — that’s not too far away! We expect this character dining experience to be popular, so you’ll want to make those reservations ASAP! Goofy’s Kitchen is a buffet open for breakfast and dinner, so you can choose what time of day works best for you! Goofy’s Kitchen We’ll admit that we prefer breakfast ourselves because of two words: Peanut Butter and Jelly Pizza. Trust us — you do NOT want to miss out on that. Peanut Butter and Jelly Pizza You’ll also find the standard breakfast items, too, including omelets, Mickey waffles, bacon, sausage, fruit, French Toast, and more. For the Halloween season, you’ll also find the following: Prosciutto and arugula eggs benedict with sun-dried tomato hollandaise Orange Mickey waffles Pumpkin toast with whipped ricotta, cranberry, bacon and candied pecans For dinner, expect to find a carving station, season vegetables, fresh catch of the day, assorted pizzas, macaroni and cheese, and more. Halloween goodies include: Farro and apple salad Roasted butternut squash panzanella Salmon with brown butter and orange butter sauce with tarragon Mole roasted chicken with rosemary garlic black beans Cheese ravioli with pumpkin cream sauce BBQ pork spare ribs A carving station with herb-marinated turkey breast and slow-roasted prime rib Assorted seasonal desserts and pastries Goofy’s Kitchen Of course, as this IS a character dining experience, you’ll also get to meet some of your favorite characters, like Goofy, Chip ‘n’ Dale, Pluto, and more. Pluto! Also note that Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel is also having a fall character dining experience for breakfasts this Halloween season, so you have two fun themed experiences to choose from (or you can just go to both!). Reservations for Storytellers Cafe’s Mickey’s Autumn Adventures are open now. ©Disney Stay tuned to DFB for more! Did Disney Drop a HINT About the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Opening Date for Disneyland?
