Disney4me Posted August 9 Report Share Posted August 9 We are LIVE at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. Event guide Y’all — we are having A BLAST, despite the crowds, and the fact that we couldn’t get in line for the Disney Lorcana booth. However, we’ve had a chance to visit an incredibly immersive Avatar exhibit (it was almost like being in Pandora at Disney’s Animal Kingdom), and we got to see a ride vehicle for a brand new ride. We’ve also had a chance to see some pretty amazing technology, including a Marvel experience that we think needs to come to the parks ASAP. Be the First to Know! Name: Email: So we visited the TVA (aka the Time Variance Authority) exhibit and saw a TON of cool Marvel things. While we were there, though, we got to have a one-on-one conversation with Rocket Raccoon. No, really! WE TALKED TO ROCKET RACCOON. Basically, the experience is a lot like the interactive Turtle Talk with Crush, but with the world’s sassiest raccoon. Just chatting with Rocket Rocket just kinda’ conversed with us and interacted with our group and it was INCREDIBLE. He was appearing via a portal at the TVA. It could be a new experience (Raccoon Talk with Rocket?). For all we know, this could be part of the big multiverse ride with King Thanos coming to Disneyland — it almost makes sense that ride might begin at the TVA (since it involves the multiverse) and include some kind of portals…maybe even in the queue? We have ideas, Disney! Call us! Disney Imagineers like to do that sometimes, after all. However, if you are visiting D23 this weekend, be sure to stop by the TVA to say hello to Rocket — he’ll say hello right back (well, he’ll probably say something snarky, but that’s Rocket for you).
