Mickey and Minnie’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party is running from August 9th to October 31st on select nights, featuring rare character meet-and-greets, exclusive entertainment, ride rides with shorter wait times, and specialty food limited to the event.  Speaking of specialty food, we went and tried a new Halloween snack that will not only be available at the party but during regular hours this Halloween season as well!

Aloha Isle Refreshments

This float is made with DOLE Whip Mango, pineapple juice, chamoy, and chili-lime seasoning and is a new addition this year. You can pick one up for $7.29 and it will be available during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and regular park hours.

DOLE Whip Mango with Chamoy

This treat is SUPER yummy! The chamoy and chili-lime seasoning isn’t overpowering, but it adds a really great balance to the sweetness of the pineapple. We do wish there was a bit more of both — and a lot of the chamoy is at the bottom which is a bit hard to get to. We’d prefer it if it was mixed a bit better throughout the float.

Time for a close-up

This would be the perfect Dole Whip if you are looking for a sweet treat that isn’t a “punch you in your face” sweet thanks to the spiciness and tang of the chamoy and tajin. This tastes like the pineapple with chamoy or tajin you get on a stick, it’s just a bit weaker in terms of those added spices. But, this has definitely taken the spot as one of our favorite Dole Whip treats!
