This evening we are listening to the Disney Experiences Showcase which highlights new experiences coming to the Disney parks and is being led by Disney Parks Chair Josh D’Amaro. We were expecting some big news, and they have delivered! ©Disney We just got some HUGE news about the Magic Kingdom expansion. Disney has now shared NEW information for a “reimagined section of Frontierland,” and we’re so excited to share it with you. Disney has announced that a new area inspired by the movie Cars is coming to Frontierland! Tow Mater has called in to #D23 to announce ‘Cars’ is coming to Frontierland in Magic Kingdom. ‘Cars’ is coming to Magic Kingdom! — Disney Food Blog (@DisneyFoodBlog) August 11, 2024 The cars are leaving Radiator Springs to explore the West and into new frontiers. There will be two NEW Cars attractions! One will take you on a race through the mountains and wild terrain along mountain trails, dodging geysers, and splashing through mud holes. New ‘Cars’ ride The second ride will geared toward smaller racers and will be fun for the whole family! Two new ‘Cars’ attractions will come to Magic Kingdom: a thrilling race rally across the frontier, and a racing attraction geared for smallest racers.
