Last week saw an interesting pattern develop, and we need to talk about it. Hollywood Studios Disney World had a bit of a bizzare week, as far as wait times go. Most were generally up at the resort, especially at EPCOT, but the Magic Kingdom saw some bizarre fluctuations. Is this an effect of the new Lighting Lane Multi Pass system? Possibly. Take a look at this week’s average wait times — going from highest to lowest! Magic Kingdom Wait Times The Magic Kingdom park had a strange week overall as far as wait times go, perhaps best exemplified by the fact that the wait for Dumbo nearly doubled, while that for the Enchanted Tiki Room was cut nearly in half. (REMINDER: Tron Lightcycle / Run does not currently use a standby queue; it’s not included here, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure does not have a standby queue yet.) Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Seven Dwarfs Mine Train — 63 minutes Space Mountain — 49 minutes Jungle Cruise — 38 minutes Big Thunder Mountain Railroad — 34 minutes Haunted Mansion — 33 minutes Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh — 33 minutes Astro Orbiter Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin — 28 minutes Astro Orbiter — 27 minutes Enchanted Tales with Belle — 21 minutes Tomorrowland Speedway — 20 minutes Pirates of the Caribbean — 19 minutes “it’s a small world” — 18 minutes Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini — 18 minutes Country Bear Musical Jamboree Dumbo the Flying Elephant — 18 minutes Mickey’s PhilharMagic — 15 minutes Country Bear Musical Jamboree — 15 minutes Liberty Square Riverboat — 14 minutes Magic Carpets of Aladdin — 12 minutes Mad Tea Party — 11 minutes Carousel of Progress Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover — 12 minutes Prince Charming Regal Carrousel — 10 minutes Tom Sawyer Island — 5 minutes Carousel of Progress — 5 minutes Enchanted Tiki Room — 4 minutes Hall of Presidents — 2 minutes Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse — 1 minute Lies About Magic Kingdom You Thought Were True EPCOT Wait Times EPCOT saw jumps across the board this week, with nearly every ride in the park seeing average wait times increase. In fact every ride in the park except Living with the Land had a wait over 10 minutes. (NOTE: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind does not currently use a standby queue, so it’s not included here.) Soarin’ Around the World Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure — 56 minutes Frozen Ever After — 48 minutes Soarin’ — 33 minutes Mission: SPACE — 19 minutes EPCOT Turtle Talk with Crush — 15 minutes Spaceship Earth — 15 minutes The Seas with Nemo and Friends — 12 minutes Journey into Imagination — 10 minutes Gran Fiesta Tour — 10 minutes Living with the Land — 9 minutes Test Track, Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China had no wait times this week. I Was Today Years Old When I Learned This Upsetting Fact About EPCOT Animal Kingdom Wait Times Animal Kingdom’s Flight of Passage remains the busiest ride at the park (and resort overall), but saw its wait time drop slightly this week. However, the rest of the park made up for it, as wait times jumped across the board everywhere else. You’ll probably sit with strangers on Kali River Rapids Avatar Flight of Passage — 76 minutes Na’vi River Journey — 52 minutes Kali River Rapids — 44 minutes Expedition Everest — 38 minutes TriceraTop Spin Kilimanjaro Safaris — 34 minutes Dinosaur — 25 minutes It’s Tough to Be a Bug — 10 minutes TriceraTop Spin — 6 minutes The Boneyard — 0 minutes 50 AMAZING Things You Never Knew Were in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Hollywood Studios Wait Times Hollywood Studios saw a return to normal at the top, as Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster ceded the title back to Slinky Dog Dash.
